HEART AND SOUL HOOF BOOTCAMP: (Adults) – 2.0 HOURS
Do you understand your horse’s feet? Would you like to hold a respectful conversation with your farrier? Would you like to know what a balanced hoof looks like? Or are you just assuming that your farrier is doing the best job? Understanding your horse’s feet and being able to communicate with confidence is the number one way that you WILL gain respect and truly understand what a good shoeing job entails. Without this vital information you may run the risk of lameness. In these hands on, info-crammed workshops, Sandi will get you started on understanding the correctly shod hoof simply and quickly!

HEART AND SOUL HOOF BOOTCAMP: FROM THE GROUND UP: (Ages 11-18) – 1.0 HOUR
What is a horse’s hoof suppose to look like? Understanding how the horse hoof really works is an important area of learning for young riders. This information is not usually taught at entry level and yet is the basis for the entire horse, whether you compete or just ride for fun. It is in your horse’s best interest that you understand the most basic of information when it comes to your horse’s hoofs and shoeing. In these hands-on workshops, participants will have fun while learning valuable information they can use for years! Parents are welcome.

HEART AND SOUL’S – THE SADDLE YOU USE AND THE SADDLE YOU CHOOSE: HOW TO REALLY UNDERSTAND YOUR SADDLE AND IT’S FIT: (Adults) – 2.0-HOURS
This 2 – hour workshop is (primarily) targeted at recreational or returning horse men or woman (ages 35+) who aspire to understand, for their horse’s sake, saddle fit and why it is important. The purpose of this presentation is to educate and empower you to be able, within reason, to asses if your saddle is a close fit or not and to understand the foundation of proper fitting saddles.

HEART & SOUL SADDLE FITTING FROM THE GROUND UP: (Ages 11-18) – 1.0 HOUR
This 1 – hour workshop is (primarily) targeted at young recreational or competitive youth riders (ages 11-18) who are either beginning their education about horses or have gained some knowledge but want to achieve a real understanding of the saddle in relation to proper care of their horse. The information is simple and understandable for even the most basic student of the horse. This workshop is done in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyable learning activities that demonstrate the need for proper fitting saddles for their horses. Everyone in the group has the ability to receive awards for excellent learning skills! Parents are welcome.

THE HEART & SOUL OF BITS: HOW AND WHY THEY ARE USED WORKSHOP: (Adults) – 2.0 HOURS
This 2 – hour workshop describes bits and their use in relation to recreational or semi-competitive riding. Do you know what a mouth configuration is? Do you know why you are using the bit you have chosen? Even if your bit was prescribed for your horse, do you really understand its description, use or possible drawbacks? Do you know the difference between a snaffle and a curb and why that difference may not be what you were taught? In this info-packed workshop, not only will Sandi cover bits as communication tools, but you’ll also learn about some misunderstandings that are so commonly overlooked even today. And, no, she doesn’t just “tell you about them!” She dives-in to real-world examples about how you can use bits effectively with a newfound understanding!

THE HEART AND SOUL OF BITS: FROM THE GROUND UP: (Ages 11-18) – 1.0 HOUR
This 1.0 – hour workshop for youth describes bits and their use in relation to recreational or semi-competitive riding. Topics include what is a mouth configuration and how to do one? Different bits and their names will be discussed. Why do/should you use a particular bit? Also discussed are the possible pitfalls in relation to bits and youth riding. In this workshop Sandi covers these important communication tools, and, no, she doesn’t just “tell you about them!” This workshop is done in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyable learning activities leaving you an understanding you will never forget! Parents are welcome.

THE HEART AND SOUL OF GROOMING FOR BONDING: (Adults) – 1.5 HOUR
This 1.5 – hour seminar gives you an insight to the horse’s mind when it comes to grooming. What tools are best for particular jobs and why? Why is grooming important? How and when you should groom? It may seem as though this topic is basic knowledge for most horse folk, but Sandi will put a new spin on it!

THE HEART AND SOUL OF BARN FITNESS BASICS: (Adults) – 1.5 HOUR
This 1.5 hour session is an introduction to balance, flexibility, stretches and strengthening. No health club attire needed. Breeches or other comfortable clothing can be used. In this fun-filled exciting workout, riders can benefit from basics needed to enhance a better ride with your horse. A dressage style workout along with using other items at the ranch will help every rider develop a workout that can be performed before and after a ride without going to the gym.
